Don't agree with this. There is a clear hole on Stuztle wing and on RD. If you can find a top 6 winger who can play with Stuztle it def fills a hole on the roster.We are winning with the roster we have. Why would we want Saad coming in and disrupting that if he is expected to be no more than replacement level player to Perron? It's either a legitimate upgrade for the lineup or nothing, imo. Perron being on the shelf is working for us.
Also, not worth the additional cap next year.
The only way this makes sense is if Joel Hofer as a backup is the centrepiece. I don't know enough about Hofer to know if that's what you're suggesting but if he isn't better than Forsberg there is no sense downgrading there, even if Forsy is out for a few games.
I personally don't think Perron is the answer he has lost a step and don't think you can have both him and G on the wing for Stuztle with his speed.
I am not sure if Saad is the answer but an upgrade is needed
