Ya but the the problem is , your saying the opposite of what you mean.
Not sure why typing a dash is so hard, vs saying something inaccurate.
When I say “is stutzle going to resign” do any readers on this message board where we exclusively talk about hockey think I’m asking if stutzle is going to resign from his position within the Sens organization?

No with Stu, but with some players yes.
What about if a month ago, you said is Stammer going to resign.
Since you know the difference, guess I just don’t get why you don’t want to type one more letter.

Resign isn’t a word we use for players. For coaches and management yea probably.

For a player we would say retire.
Either. Way. It’s a typo. But I mean. It’s a harmless one

not wrong. But I have worse typos to worry about before I get to resign
Yes, typos, spelling, grammar, punctuation and just writing skills in general is well beyond misspelling one word and difficult for some. It creates an impression & image of the person in question.

The worst right now is the meme of spelling paid as payed. No bueno.

I am OK with referring to Offside as "Offsides" though.

My pet peeve is when people spell player names wrong. I already know it’s going to be a long year with the “Klevin” situation.
Another one was “Dorian" versus “Dorion” even though he was the Senator’s coach for years.

You can think what you want of me. Love me. Hate me. Whatever.

We’re both gonna die

Pierre Dorion used to refer to borowiecki as boro wiki.
His own player. Wasn’t the only name he mispronounced. What a clown.
It’s one thing to mispell a word once in a while but to repeatedly mispronounce your own players names.
