Way better than the Rabbit Stew Bugs Bunny from '41 cartoon I would have put up. Because you don't have a bias at all.
An American player, in a league of 25 USA based teams. Blond, Blue-eyed, mid western boy. A family that I believe is dealing with a child with developmental issues.I honestly don’t know what he would get, I didn’t think about it too deeply. He wouldn’t sign here anyway imo but I suspect it would be no less than 7 million with the cap going up. Hed have quite a few 60 pt+ seasons if he’d stayed healthy.
Well and you could argue he’d take less to play in Minnesota but it should go without saying that we would have to overpay. An American player, in a league of 25 USA based teams. Blond, Blue-eyed, mid western boy. A family that I believe is dealing with a child with developmental issues.
That will play amazingly well in the US.
Back home in Minnie..any Central division team. Someone will pony up 8-9 M and market around him. He can put 1000-2000 added butts in seats. That alone is 4-8 Million a year of added team revenue..
Imagine Brady in STL, how much do you think they would pay???? and for 2000-3000 added butts in seats.

I don't think it would cost quite that much either, but it does seem like it'd be a decent size and term that is a big commitment and I wouldn't do it if it did get that high. I'm luke warm on it. Watched a lot of Vancouver over the years. Really would come down to the cost and term for me. Not a lot out there, so I will give you that. Some other intriguing names are Ehlers, Hall and Nelson maybe, but pretty barren for forward UFA's. Ultimately, I don't think a big UFA will be in the cards either way, but we'll see. I'd peg Giroux coming back at about 95-99%.First, we don't know what he would want & second, I doubt it would be $9 mil. Who would you want to replace Giroux at RW who would be available, who wouldn't cost us any assets (free agent signing) & is a good point producer? Boeser had 73 pts last season & after being injured earlier this yr has rebounded & is having another good season.

Minnie is at 102% capacity and has been for years. Brady is not the difference between selling out or not in STL, winning is.An American player, in a league of 25 USA based teams. Blond, Blue-eyed, mid western boy. A family that I believe is dealing with a child with developmental issues.

Whether they deal with Giroux leaving this yr or next they will have to eventually deal with it & replace him with a top six forward. And this is why I doubt they move Norris knowing they will be losing Giroux soon. The guys you mention are LWers, they need a RWer & I agree there is slim pickings in the UFA market this summer. Boeser seems like the most logical choice, but as others have said he might get a better offer somewhere else including his home state. Maybe Staois pulls a rabbit out of his hat, we'll see. I expect they will make three or four changes over the summer, maybe more.I don't think it would cost quite that much either, but it does seem like it'd be a decent size and term that is a big commitment and I wouldn't do it if it did get that high. I don’t think anyone would think Boeser can add 1-2k extra fans in the seats per game in the Central. An American player, in a league of 25 USA based teams. Blond, Blue-eyed, mid western boy. A family that I believe is dealing with a child with developmental issues.

It is not a bad idea in general, I'll give you that, just would want to keep it within reason. They will need to add, but he's not a player I'd want the brinks truck backed up for necessarily.Whether they deal with Giroux leaving this yr or next they will have to eventually deal with it & replace him with a top six forward. The only "sense" is that the player might want to stay with the team he is on now and realizes that he will probably not get a better offer elsewhere than what his current team is offering (e.g., offering Brannstrom a $1M or $1.5M contract). I suspect that most players would gamble that they could get the same or a better contract elsewhere.Ahhhh. I’m seeing now why I was thinking they couldn’t offer less. It makes no sense whatsoever for a player to sign for less than his QO, when he will get his QO in arb.
Take Giroux's $6.5M plus $1M from Forsberg's salary and you have $7.5M to offer Boeser. Might be doable.Whether they deal with Giroux leaving this yr or next they will have to eventually deal with it & replace him with a top six forward. I’m obviously crazy but I’d like to see Perron play before calling it a terrible signing. It’s not just you, it’s almost everyone judging the player without seeing him with this group.Staios doesn't have the balls to Robidas Island Perron. He's the one who signed him so he'll do whatever he can to help Perron get to a place where he feels he can play. It's just poor player evaluation.
lol. Boeser isn’t coming to Ottawa for 7.5M.Take Giroux's $6.5M plus $1M from Forsberg's salary and you have $7.5M to offer Boeser. Might be doable.

Yeah I was hoping to get the dark screen back, can’t stand the white background.Did the new update remove dark mode?
Looks like the update doesn't honour your privacy settings either.

Trade Norris, take the 6.5 and 1 and you have a whack to offer Rantanen (and with the cap going up still keep Giroux!)Take Giroux's $6.5M plus $1M from Forsberg's salary and you have $7.5M to offer Boeser. Might be doable.
Money under the table or future favor from a very rich team.Carrier would have been an absolute steal, would have helped shore up the D for the next few years. I have really liked him for a long time.
Easier said than done of course, he's not making too much, and is a steal at his contract, but in season with where the Sens are it would have been near impossible to make happen.
Montreal had an absolute bullseye. I have absolutely no clue what Trotz was doing, Carrier would have returned an absolute haul last year at the deadline, at least a late 1st + some ammo.
Those are the unsung hero's, the ~20 minute a night guys who are steady and shore up the D.
Best way to retool is to get rid of two good Right shot D for nothing in return. It’s always been said.Fabbro was never really given his due by Nashville under 2 different coaches. Trotz is trying to pivot and retool, he has moved Carrier and O’Reilly is next. At least Trotz hasn’t pulled a Muckler, he is giving the guys he signed this summer a say in where they are being moved to.

My theory lives on.
No reason to trade carrier for Justin freaking Barron
