Proposal: Free agency edition Trade Rumours/Proposals [MOD - Stay on Topic] 5

Could be a good buy low candidate. He's a great playmaking winger who's having a bad year. I wonder what it would take considering they've been screwed by injuries on the back end and also need scoring.

I'd move Greig for him but Macelli is kinda small and I feel like Staios and co might want to go after a larger framed guy like Crouse who'd cost a lot more.
I wouldnt move Greig for him but I think we could get Macelli for less
Tommy Novak is another guy who's on a bad team that's started selling pieces, is having an off year, but has shown offensive abilities the last two seasons. Can play C and LW, brings lots of speed.
Good thought, he could be a really solid buy-low option

Unless Perron and Amadio are gonna suit up very soon, I'd like to see them go the Sprong route.
If we look at him as a potential depth player that can generate offense with more offensive players .. maybe he is.. lets see the top 3 free wallet players available and go from there. He has 2 back to back 40+ point seasons heading into this one. We could do worse.
Sens are at 47 contracts according to puckpedia
update
Sprong could be a casualty of acquiring Kakko and Wright's emergence as a regular. He has been healthy scratched a fair bit I take it.. and was used as a 13th forward
looking at some favorable /60 stats among forwards
7th in goals/60
8th in iXG/60
4th in iCF/60
7th in iFF/60
2nd in Rush attempts/ 60
9th in takeaways /60
14th in giveaways/60
7th in hits taken/60

Norris + for Troy Terry
Greig for Peterka
whats the + and no way Buffalo does that at this point.

Cozens is supposedly getting listens .. I would look into what that would take

I could see Utah dealing Maccelli in a package for a top 2 line center, but that'd probably only happen after he rebounds and they'd undoubtedly want a better center than Greig in return.

Maccelli is an incredible playmaker. 78 assists over the last two years. Having a bad year playing on the 3rd line beside Crouse and Bjugstad, but if you put him beside a talented sniper he'll probably go back to putting up significant numbers.

Maccelli next to Norris could end up very nice if we can acquire him

I feel like it could be worth a try. He can be the Perron replacement since who the F knows when/if he'll ever suit up again.

We are not moving Greig. He is exactly what we need more of.

Only way we move him is for a bigger, better version like Alex Tuch or something along those lines.

Tkachuk-Pinto-Greig has been our best line and can play in all situations last little bit, doubt we moving him so easily.
