The X account NHL Rumour Report (NHLRumourReport) mainly acts as an aggregator rather than a source of original reporting. While it is fair to say the account is designed to gain attention and engagement, its primary purpose is to collect and share information from established hockey insiders and media outlets. Instead of breaking news or relying on anonymous sources, it monitors trusted figures such as Elliotte Friedman, Darren Dreger, and Pierre LeBrun, then condenses their updates into short, easy-to-read posts. Most of their tweets clearly credit the original source, often summarizing comments from podcasts, articles, or broadcasts into a single update. Is that all that this twitter account does? This makes the account useful for fans who want a quick overview of NHL news without following dozens of reporters individually. However, there is a downside: because the information is condensed into brief posts, some context can be lost. At times, a casual or speculative remark from an insider may come across as a more serious rumor than intended. Overall, the account is a convenient tool for staying informed, but it is important to pay attention to the original sources they cite before fully trusting or interpreting any rumor.
I agree but to me it doesn't make sense for Columbus to move him unless they are going for a rebuild or massive retool.if Marchenko is avaliable we need to be all over that
pretty much replaces Brady
maybe they know he isn't interested in signing long termI agree but to me it doesn't make sense for Columbus to move him unless they are going for a rebuild or massive retool.
I actually find it super helpful. It's all the news aggregated in one place. Is that all that this twitter account does? Repost news from days ago to generate views?
Rather pay that price over giving up Spence for McTavish
to be fair the twitter post does put the date at the end of the rumour. The people posting here should just be more awareSometimes it feels with these aggregators that rumours get recycled to the point where it seems like there’s more noise than there is. This statement from Friedman was made yesterday morning (6/24), but is being shared again on Twitter as if it’s new.
Приезжайте в Оттаву, братья — здесь холодно, как дома.
He's up for a new deal, I have zero interest in paying the asking price without an extension, so a lot depends on whether he's interested in being hereif Marchenko is avaliable we need to be all over that

yes would need an extensionHe's up for a new deal, I have zero interest in paying the asking price without an extension, so a lot depends on whether he's interested in being here
I would do 25th overall+Yakemchuk+Halliday but I don't think Columbus accepts that.It sounds like they're just listening on him in case some team wants to offer a Byram-esque overpayment in this insane seller's market.
There's a pretty good reason why he wasn't able to command a bigger return, I feel like that context is pretty relevant. He's also 31 rather than 23, at the same age he had 10 pts in 57 games, and a career high of 34.I'd rather pay that than what we payed for Eklund. 10 times the player Eklund is.

Hell I'd keep Grieg over Cozens, he's a Swiss army knifeAgreed. Pinto should be in the top 6, not trade proposals. Greig should go before Pinto 101 times out of 99.
Difference is Colorado had to trade him, Vancouver doesn't really need to trade DeBrusk. As an aside, maybe the low cost of acquisition for Nuke will bring down the asks for other guys, no chance DeBrusk can command a first after seeing that trade.
I dont disagree, I just think you've stated exactly why Greig would have more valueHell I'd keep Grieg over Cozens, he's a Swiss army knife
I think Cozens might be perceived as more valuable outside Ottawa. If you're looking for a 2nd line C and anyone heard both Cozens and Grieg were available, you'd get more interest in Cozens. Maybe not though. But that's why I'm keeping Grieg, he's half the price and just as valuable in the big pictureI dont disagree, I just think you've stated exactly why Greig would have more value
