how do you reach that conclusion? i think these signings show the confidence that his org is readying to make the turn and has enough pieces in place now to move forward. His design isnt fill the roster with kids and watch them suck for 5 years, he has always been the guy that wants good players in place and the kids to be intergraded.

No way lol, Krav is a very fast skater but has a very nonchalant and graceful look. I’m imagining Trochek as an inefficient skater who moves his feet really fast with shorter strides hence not great speed. Polar opposite

That is likely your roster for next season. Not so bad. Unless Goat is traded and Hunt is beat by a young guy like Trivigno or Cuylle. Again, time will tell.

Emberson is a good add for Hartford. Gives us a good LD-RD split.

They could stand to upgrade on Hajek but that's not a huge deal right now.

So over that we traded away two 2nd round picks. That is just stupid.

I wouldn’t have done it, (like I wouldn’t have done the Staal deal), but it is what it is. That contract was never going to end well.

I'm not saying its the wrong move. But these guys will all have big roles next year, like the Rangers they arent waiting on their slow developing prospects. Detroit will be a solid team next year. the Atlantic is pretty wide open after Tampa & Toronto
