Trocheck is good but that is a wild contract. He was probably going to make 6mil on a shorter term deal.

As I said with Copp, anything in the 5-6 range will look good when the cap jumps. Im not going to let a seemingly bad contract take away from the fact that Trocheck is legitimately good and exactly what we need.

But Trochek does the things that Copp can't do including faceoffs, PK, PP, AND most importantly, plays center, which according to Drury, Copp doesn't. Great signing.

The AAV is not horrible but the term is... Knowing us it fill have a full NMC for the last years as well. That's what really matters. Need to be able to get rid of bad contracts. We already have a few big ones that we should move but can't because our moron GMs keep giving the players leverage in turning down trades.
