Shea is older than Ludvig but was far better in his end than he was. Ludvig was a joke defensively and routinely got burned. Shea was solid, don't mind him back at all.

Skinner would be insane to come here, IMO. There are probably places that would offer him a multi year deal today. And there are others that would be much better landing spots for a one-year deal to "pump his numbers" for a contract next summer.

The Penguins now have a 1st, 2nd and 3rd in 2025, a 1st, 2nd and 2 3rds in 2026 and a 1st, 2 2nds and a 3rd in 2027. Finally they're starting to stock up on some draft picks. To be able to get those 2 2nds without giving up pretty much anything of note is great work by Dubas.

Now go trade for Nick Robertson to replace Smith in the top-9.
