Maurice LaMarche has gotten a ton of milage out of his Orson Welles and rightly so. I remember seeing this on pinky and the brain as a kid and not getting it at all, but knowing the background its pretty hilarious

Side note, every single time I look up a voice actor I end up amazed at their catalogue of appearances in familiar movies/shows/games. If voice actors appeared on-screen, so we could actually recognize them every time they make a cameo, they'd be some of the most famous people in the world.

This dude was in EVERY Pixar film up to like 2020...as well as countless TV show and movie and other random supporting appearances

This guy arguably has the most impressive filmography in Hollywood, as long as you're impressed by animal sounds:

A very short run of highlights:
- the original Fred in Scooby Doo
- the original Megatron in Transformers
- Totoro in My Neighbor Totoro
- Cujo in Cujo
- Both Mowlgli and Stripe in Gremlins
- The monkey in Raiders of the Lost Ark
- "Spock's Screams" in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock
- The graboids in Tremors
- Curious George in the movie adaptation
- Kermit and Beaker in Muppet Babies
- Santa's Little Helper and Snowball II in The Simpsons
- Abu the monkey in Aladdin
- The aliens in Independence Day

(I really want to emphasize, this is a tiny fraction of the list... check the link, you won't be disappointed)

Seriously, imagine if a visible actor had played recognizable roles in all of those movies. He'd be a household name, a face looking back at you from a tabloid cover. Meanwhile, this joker could walk right past you and you'd have no clue he wasn't another LA rando.

Yeah Cliffy was a Pixar staple either a supporting character or a cameo.
Am I the only one offended by referring to Cliff Clavin as “this dude from Pixar movies”?

The Disney good luck charm has become Alan Tudyk. Voice of King Candy, the Duke of Weaseltown, Krei, Knowsmore, Hei Hei, Tuk Tuk, and the toucan in Encanto.

And man, I am really developing a talent for derailing these threads with one joke. Although it’s not THAT difficult with this board.

So its been 4 weeks since injury, well past the original 2-3 week diagnosis, and just past the cutoff that Tripp posted in April.

Freddie still hasn't practiced, and he still hasn't skated and did not do either with the team this morning.

At a certain point, as fans we need to stop listening to the bullshit from the front office and just come to grips with the fact that he very well could be out for the remainder of the playoffs.

It doesn't matter.

We just got .927 goaltending from Raanta in the first round.

It confuses me to see "and that's even without our starting goalie, imagine how much better we'd be..."

Really? You think Freddie's gonna go significantly better than .927? Because that's what Raanta just did in Round 1.

We got as good a performance from our goaltending as we are gonna get. As far as on-ice performance goes for the next few weeks, there's nothing that tells me we are any better (or any worse) with Freddie in net as with Raanta.

The only issue with Freddie being unable to play is the risk of Raanta ending up in the same boat. With regard to who is actually in the net, Freddie, Raanta, doesn't matter.
