the one thing about andersen is you know that it will be another month before he sees a game, if not more. His "take my time" comeback.
I mean he's already skating well on the early size of the projected timetable and we have a 2 week break coming up pretty soon. So it makes sense for him to return after the 4 nations thing.
 
I was watching some videos from Canada. I forget who but someone made the comment that Freddie is probably 3 weeks or more away despite returning to the ice this week.

Doesn't really mean anything, just likely some cap shenanigans. They can backdate this to when he was hurt if they want

That is so confusing to me.....what are the cap shenanigans specifics on why this approach?

btw: Smith was placed on waivers the other day for a sending down to Chicago but now has cleared and is back up?

edit: per a Walt Ruff post...not cap games but rather to open a spot for Smith.
