Fraser Minten named Captain of Team Canada

As far as I can tell, most of the Leaf fans were happy to have Minten on the team but there was a bit of a surprise he was named captain.

I don't think Canada brass did him any favors with his deployment in the tourney however. I think he has an effective toolset to play in the league, but he was typecast into a role that I don't think he was suited for.

NHL upside, my 2 cents. The main boards go a little crazy for sure.

The biggest peoblem was selfish play .too many gloryhounds ,too me Cowan played like Darcy Tucker. Dog on a bone .the bench never got shortened once .Cowan tried too hard not be selfish as did celebini .it's a 19 year old tourney .looking back to the chechia game

I guess it's unfortunate that the WJHC just came to such a sudden and abrupt end.

Wait a minute, it’s still going, unfortunately the US can only win Gold against Canada so I predict they’ll get the silver. Go Czechia

Naturally I want the US in the final, however in the US EJ Hradek and Dave Starman do the play by play, so for that reason alone, I‘m OK if Findlanda wins.
