Are you expecting him to keep getting a 2-3 goals game every 4-5 games?

66% of his goals come from 17% of his games.

3 games 8 goals, 9 points
15 games 3 goals, 7 points

WTF, I assumed this was an exaggeration, but he's actually sitting on 2 points in 12 games. What's happening over there?
shooting at like 3% or something crazy low, but focusing more on the defensive side of his game. but now also injured with some mystery injury that has no time table to return.

Always been a guy that scores a bunch quick and then nothing for awhile and this year he is double his normal shooting percentage.

All the top scorers in the league are guys the Rangers let go for nothing.

Vatrano
Bozo Miller
Phil DiGiuseppe
Kravtsov once the Nucks call him up will dominate the league.

Thanks Sather.

How is he a top scorer with his 8 pts?

Zegras seems too concerned with Michigan type plays then actually being a really good player.

Zegras has focused on his 2-way play and no one is really worried about his offense. Look up his advanced stats to see if he has been effective.

Vatrano and Strome both have been arguably the Ducks 2 most important forwards when it comes to generating offense. Very much improved under Cronin.

If he scores 50 goals this year, he will be the biggest surprise 50 goal scorer of all time.

But why did the Bruins, Rangers and Panthers give up so easy on this guy? He looks like a legit elite sniper out there this year.

He actually looked really good in NY and in Florida.
Speaking for the Rangers, they had no cap room or space for him, unfortunately.

From what I remember he was hurt the year before and the year the Bruins traded him he had trouble staying in the line up. Not everyone in Boston was happy to see him go, but there wasn't really a spot for him and at the time it was considered a win-win-win trade. Boston got value for an underutilized player, Florida got much needed winger depth, and Frankie got playing time, which he wasn't getting in Boston.

Same reason the Panthers dumped Huberdeau. Wasn't really a good fit for the direction the club was headed and salary cap forced some tough decisions.

Good goal scorer, but very streaky. And when he's in an ice cold slump, you might as well have a traffic cone on the ice.
