Franchise Mode Playoffs Sim - Rigged

Has anybody else noticed this? 9 times out of 10, when I sim, every single series goes to 7 games. It's almost inevitable, when the series is 3-2, the team down in the series wins game 6.

In addition, I get swept in the Conference Finals at least 90% of the time. It's like clockwork. Usually I play as the Sharks and get swept by the Blues, but it is every ****ing time, a sweep in the conference finals.

One more thing; every single game 7, if I decide to actually play, is rigged to go to OT. Either there is a horrible ice tilt against me when I am ahead, and it brings us to overtime, or I am down by 1-2 goals, and have an insane ice tilt that helps me tie the game.

Has anybody else noticed that franchise mode feels kind of rigged? Are there other things in franchise mode that you have noticed that seem rigged?

I don't know is it really rigged more like it has not been designed well. As an example, I took Arizona as my team and advanced all the way to the cup finals despite trading most of my best players and trying to tank intentionally. For crying out loud I had a bunch of AHL scrubs playing and still whooped the competition in the western conference. Just like in the years past the mode behaves completely unrealistically.

Thats interesting. I played a season mode to test if my newly edited ratings were good and Arizona won the cup ffs, as Tampa Bay blew a 3-1 lead in the cup finals.

Simulation is an absolute crap shoot in this game. Take 20 minutes and go watch a youtube video of a GM mode. You can have a stacked squad and simulate so ****, as others have stated if you trade everyone off and try to tank the game says "nope" and you make the playoffs as a 7-8 seed and end up at least in the 2-3rd round

I notice i either get swept round 1 or win the cup. Nothing else. I also have iced borderline all star teams and missed the play offs which drives me nuts. Like my 3c is an 88 and my lowest defender is an 86 and my all star goalie who is a 91 can't stop a puck. When you build a team like that you can only keep them together for 1-2 years tops so missing the playoffs is ****ing insanity.
