Faber has been unbelievable since he stepped foot in the NHLFox. This is very premature.
I’m looking for namesWell now you’re saying number 2?

They were hemmed in their own zone the whole tournament.Slavin - Faber was an unbelievable pair so I don't see how this comment has any validity. If the pair sucked, sure. They didn't, they were unbelievable.
Age isn't even a factor because this is like choosing between Eichel and Lafreniere.I think Fox gets a bit of a bum rap, and the tournament certainly isn't helping but
If you're seriously asking me if I'd want to build around a 27 year old or a 22 year old it's a pretty easy choice even before considering how Faber constantly rises to the occasion and learns and grows...he's a sponge...
Age isn't even a factor because this is like choosing between Eichel and Lafreniere.
Five years of what tho?disagree, 5 years is an eternity in sports
Especially if we're talking about building a team
You said he’s top 3-5. Then said only Makar is better. I don’t have to give you names to know I can’t reason with you.Faber has been unbelievable since he stepped foot in the NHL

Just give us names, dude. What D besides Makar would you take over Faber? You said he’s top 3-5. Then said only Makar is better. I don’t have to give you names to know I can’t reason with you.
Horrible player comp. If anything, he is like Doughty who has also had questionable advanced stats. Or McAvoy.Five years of what tho?
He'll never be as good as Fox. He's the third-best defenseman on the Wild.
If it were Sanderson or maybe even Hutson, I would agree with you on the age thing if the question is "build a team around."
I don't get Faber. His underlying numbers are completely f***ing mid. And everyone's gonna call me a nerd and say I don't watch the games. That's fine. This feels like Rasmus Ristolainen all over again. Everyone will get excited about the player, attack me when I point out the numbers, and then forget I told them so when the guy is a nobody at 27.
The only reason Faber gets so much glaze is because his coaches really like putting him on the ice. You know, like Rasmus Ristolainen.
When did Doughty and McAvoy have questionable advanced stats?Horrible player comp. If anything, he is like Doughty who has also had questionable advanced stats. Or McAvoy.
And every single Wild fan, coach, player, FO member would confirm he is a better player than both Brodin & Spurgeon.
Fox.Just give us names, dude. What D besides Makar would you take over Faber?
Oh, by far.Hughes too.
Dahlin, HeiskanenWerenski, Morrissey, etc.
Heiskanen is another one everyone just forgot about because he's hurt.Dahlin, Heiskanen
The only ones who dont think he is a star is you and the chart crowd. Watch him every night and he’s significantly better than advanced stats darling Spurgeon, to name one example.I understand that Faber is a young player but everyone he's getting compared to in this thread was already a superstar at the age he is now.
Nope. Let’s be serious hereFox.
Questionable. Hughes is better on the PPHughes too.
Good lord. Didn’t I just say Faber has been a stud since the moment he made his debut? Stop being an East coast shit head, my dude.Oh, by far.
Werenski, Morrissey, McAvoy, Forsling who everyone just forgot about because it didn't happen yesterday; he's having a good year.
Just scratching the surface here.
Look, I don't wanna sit here and just shit on this kid. He's 22 years old and clearly has some talent. He has the chance to really be something. I just think we're forgetting the caliber of players we're comparing him to here.
Fox, again, already won a Norris at that age and he really should have two. I understand how special Karlsson's production was in 22-23 but Fox was surely a better a hockey player top to bottom. That's a difficult resume to surmount even with all the potential in the world.
Classic HF being reactionary over a few games that just happened.
It’s not questionable, but my early prognosis is correct, you can’t be reasoned with. Unsure if you are an actual hockey fan if you have this little knowledge. Objectively speaking Faber isn’t top 3. Fox and Hughes are better.Nope. Let’s be serious here
Questionable. Hughes is better on the PP
Who else besides Makar is a cut above?
Heiskanen is another one everyone just forgot about because he's hurt.
