I think a lot of people around the league will now have a much better appreciation of just how good Josh Morrissey really is.

I don’t generally go near the main boards during international hockey. I have not heard many reviews of how Morrissey is being viewed by fans since my head is in the sand. Personally I think he has risen to the occasion and might be Canada’s best D man to this point.

I think I was a bit skeptical about the 4 Nations cup. My main objection hasn’t changed, I do not like these tournaments in season.

That being said watching the 1st period of Canada vs USA was pretty amazing. I realized from top to bottom the players are 100% all in on this chance to go head to head vs each other. As long as they are in like that they have dragged me in to this competition.

Today is a day off, its like 1000 below, my kids are at their moms and everyone is sick, so we had to cancel my daughters birthday party (poor kid). I have f*** all to do today and checked my options and realized we have two games on TV today………I feel like I have won the lottery as far as something to do.

Either way I will admit I was wrong about watching some best on best but I remain steadfast in not liking it in season.

Come on Canada you need another game to figure out your lines and find some line chemistry. It’s a short tournament and hopefully today they can unlock some magic.

Still baffled by the goofy goaltending choices??

This should have been any combination of Kuemper/Thompson/Blackwood
