Air Canada. No reason but I'm assuming due to all the storms they've had in Toronto the last few days.

No credit for cruise but I atleast got the add on 's, excursions, taxes, port fees and air fair refunded. I used free nights for the layover hotels so that isn't costing me anything as well.

So not as bad as it could have been.

No credit for cruise but I atleast got the add on 's, excursions, taxes, port fees and air fair refunded. I used free nights for the layover hotels so that isn't costing me anything as well.

No route was available to get us there prior to departure. We got a text at 7 am this morning saying our noon flight was canceled. They rescheduled us for Monday which is after the boat is already at sea.

Now I'm trying to work withbthe travel agent to figure out if I can get a credit or anything from the cruise company or if I'm going to be out thousands for that.

Not exactly a great day.

You can catch the ship at a port of call. Nassau, Cozumel, etc. It would be pretty expensive I imagine.

There's a 5:10am flight out of Fargo tomorrow to Miami (or Orlando). But I don't know where you're starting from or going...

Thanks a lot for that. We have already canceled though. The port calls would have been too expensive.

Probably should have considered Fargo though. I might just start driving to the States and flying. I think I've had it with Pearson International, the worst airport I've ever been in.

Pearson is garbage. I refuse to connect there. Allegiant is a shitty airline but their prices can't be beat.

I remember I wanted a flight from Vancouver to San Diego for the Raiders/Bucs SB ... leave Friday morning and coming back late Sunday. They told me there's no flights available. So I phoned the US to fly out of Seattle and she said why aren't you flying out of Vancouver. I told her there are no flights available ... she says hold on ... she books me the first flight out of Vancouver Friday am and the best part it was $150 cheaper ... go figure.

We had something similar happen to us our first cruise, or what was supposed to be. Anyways. From now on we book our flight to arrive 2 days before departure. Arrive in the evening. Have a full day at cocoa beach or wherever, then next morning head to cruise.

No problems with that approach - we have had flights cancelled last minute twice since then (that first cruise was almost 20 years ago).

Enjoy the game and try not to think about it. I’ve been there buddy.
