Am i so torn apart for this CANADA vs USA finals.

I want Helly to do so well here, but i want Canada to win also!

ARgggg!!!! :laugh:

if Helly losses and KC , will it demoralize them OR makes them more hungry to win the CUP.
Hopefully more hungry to win the cup this year...

Sanheim had played his offside before so id like to see him paired with jomo... get a top 4 that can be a threat to engage but also a threat for early stretch passes...

Id really load the top two lines with speed and try to get an early advantage - US will clamp down if they get the first goal

Canada wins 2-1 .. KFC scores late to break Billington's shutout and JoMo scores the winner in OT and everybody is happy until the Jets win the SC then everyone is happy happy joy joy.

Canada did the same to the US too. My guess is we will see Canada do more chip and chase. I also expect them to try to get more multi layered screens with point shots. They need to take away Helle’s vision. Look for low to high plays with lots of bodies in between the shooter and the net.

I think the main adjustment is Makar.
Otherwise and this may sound weird but to me if Crosby plays like he did in game 1 we are in great shape.
I thought he was a huge reason as to why we lost on Saturday.
Monday was a mixed bag he seemed mainly ineffective (fumbling pucks, generally losing battles) until his big shift for the empty netter.
Sid may have been our best player the first game and perhaps (based on ice time) one of our worst last Saturday.
If he has a strong game then Canada will be very tough to beat.

Hopefully all our least favourite Americans playing with injuries will have bad performances.

Just have all 3 Jets get out of the game uninjured and i'm a happy camper . I care way more about the Winnipeg Jets than winning the 4 nations thingumajig. I will say it's kinda neat that we only had 3 Jets playing in this and they are all in the final, foreshadowing kids. :naughty: :nod:

It once again shows Helly is the best no matter who he faces or system in place.

Man Matthew Tkachuk is a goof , so glad that loser doesn't play for a Canadian team and man would i love the Jets to play the Panthers in the Cup final.I can't believe the things he was saying about the country of Canada.

Funny... I don't see any reference to xGF, CF%, etc when talking about this tourney (although it could just be my ignore list doing it's job lol)

This is what being an NHL fan used to be like. No stupid arguments about stupid stats. Just watching hockey, cheering for your team and hating your rival

Someone may stumble along to mention "sample size", but that would probably underscore my point
