Marchand-Bennett-Jarvis is one of the greasiest lines Canada has ever put together for an international game
I thought the US was dominating the Finns through the first 2 periods. The 3rd period was just those chickens coming home to roost.
GOATs like Roy and Hasek leave everyone in the dust, but Hellebuyck is arguably in the Top 5 goalies of the last 40 years (in 3rd to 5th place after the GOATs). He's not (yet?) GOAT tier, but he's definitely a true elite.I also hope Hellebuyck does better in the playoffs, but this fanbase will be EXTREMELY spoiled with regards to the goaltending levels they expect day in and day out when Hellebuyck's play falls off or he retires. The level of play he has delivered in the regular season since he entered the league simply isn't matched by many goalies in history.
Luckily, I was a Thrashers fan while you all hopped around the NHL bandwagon to whatever team had the best goalie.
The Thrashers' best goalie was the fat and injured version of Kari Lehtonen.

Yeah there was a lull where nobody was doing much of anything in the 2nd. I guess it was the latter part of the 2nd when the US started to get going.Didn't the US have like 2 shots in the first 15 minutes of the 2nd?

Canada is going to get cornholed vs USA, the coaching is worthless, #55 is a puck grenade dangler and 44 is handcuffed to him...
I hope 44 can avoid the mess incoming.
29 and 97 are one man fail wrecking crews and 87 is doing his best to keep them afloat.
That Canada win feels like a loss.
