Really surprised by the lack of shots in these games so far.

These nations' forward groups are as good as they've ever been (except maybe Canada but it's Canada) and I think pretty much all of the defense groups are a step back from the previous generation in terms of actually defending.

Would anyone here accept the NHL going to a once per week schedule like the NFL, say for like 20 games max for a season?

Nah thats too few games. I think 60 would be great. There’s 0% chance they ever reduce the games though

Does anyone else prefer 4 Nations Tournament every year and get rid of rhe all-star game, not the weekend? I do like the All-Star Skills Competition and wish they would just have that, without the game. I dont get why they don't have a deflection skills competition. That would be interesting.

You would run the risk of it losing it's apparent allure if you started running it every year. Every 2nd year with the Olympics means that it's something to look forward to.
You'd also possibly have an issue with the players, where the same group of 80 doesn't get a break when everyone else does each season. Yes, the ASG can be similar but it's less players, and much lower impact

Haven't had any interest in the ASG since they made it 3v3. I don't know why they thought that was a good idea.

Yeah, the ASG wasn't that great but I'd still rather watch a hockey game over a shinny tournament.
