GDT: Four Nations Tournament - Part 2 - 2/15 , Sweden vs Finland 1pm ET , USA vs Canada , 8pm ET

Blame it on Fox....he won't play with anybody else . FWIW....I hope Fox does not get hurt in the Canada game . Some fast moving guys out there and he won't get many sheltered shifts and I can see team Canada taking advantage of his size/speed on their dumps for when they don't skate around him .

5-2 Canada . 3-2 and then a couple of empty net goals to seal it . It won't matter...it will be the last game that will matter . This will be a feel each other out game . It will get physical tonight very early .

I imagine this will be as accurate as every other prediction you’ve made.

My favorite one recently was when you said the Rangers would get bullied by the Senators. We watched the Rangers dumpster the Sens with Igor smacking Brady Tkachuk around for good measure LOL.

Bennett and Brady.....which one puts his team on the PK first today ? It will be a coin toss ....but Sam does tend to get away with a lot more than Brady it seems from what I have watched in the last year .

No idea....he does not get talked about very much on the Canadian hockey channels ...at least not like HF LOL....kind of like Fox.....he does not get mentioned very much either as I would not even have known he was demoted from the PP in that first game and lost a partner until I read it here . Who will they find to play with him today . I think Makar is under the weather ....that is not good either if they have the flu running through them . It seems like every second person in Canada has some sort of cold/flu these days .

Flip a coin . It should be a great game . They hate one another too . I sometimes wonder if both these teams were better 15- 20 yrs ago or have lesser stars but more talent spread across the roster ?

It is interesting that two countries that are not thought of as aggressive as some other countries have that kind of animosity towards each other.
 
Brady and Bennett should square up to open the game like Big Walt and Claude back in the day. I know Tkachuk is game but Bennett usually shies away from the punches.

Battle for hockey supremacy bragging rights. Both teams should be angry going in. Appetizer for when they go for Gold in a few years.

Yes great villains like Claude are good for the league. He is a Hall of Famer in my book. Marchand is similar. Definite hall of famer to me.

So....a Sweden win today would make for a better tournament game versus the US if Canada beats the US today ? Is there a chance that Sweden could still make the Finals ?

I hear ya on Marchand.....If we are going to rent one more guy for the playoffs now that we have Miller.....he would be my guy . It would be an expensive rental ....very expensive like an Othmann to start with .

I proposed Marchand for Kreider to my brother in law from Boston earlier in the year. He said yes! I'd make that deal in a heartbeat. Hopefully it would work out better than Brad Park lol
