Uh, he plays big minutes on the Sharks, definitely not best on best, and does really well…maybe he needed more minutes and a better deployment here, but then again I’m not a genius hockey mind like Mike Sullivan…

Some do, some don't. It's almost always the guys who are utilized incorrectly that excel elsewhere. Your McCanns, your Granlunds. I'm sure we'll see EK start to put up like a PPG again once he's dealt.

Lots of guys are entirely forgettable or downright dogshit though. Kapanen, McGinn, Zohorna, Nylander, POJ, Petry, Lafferty, Blueger, Dumo, Reilly Smith, etc.

On top of a godawful coach who's gonna last close to a decade longer than he should've by the time he's eventually fired, this team's had this weird fascination with collecting crap players for years.
