Most beautiful thing I've ever seen
I thought of Dubi as well….It’s been 4 minutes without a fight. Come on. Best thing so far was McAvoy hitting Crosby. I bet Dubinsky was cheering whoever he is.
Team USA looks more interested in defending the national anthem than Connor Hellebuyck’s net
I recall Bob Cousy saying that Bill Russell used to hurl before big games but Cousy also mentioned that if it was a really big game Russell went into the dry heaves, giving Cousy and the team confidence that Russell was more than readyThey just showed Zach in the hall before they came out and he looked to me like he was about to hurl.
It is an abomination that he is hidden away in Edmonton. It’s like if LeBron James played for the Sacramento Kings. That McDavid guy is pretty good
It's not that it's being hidden away as much as it is an old boys club who hires jokes like Chiarelli and Bowman along with a has been in HollandBaby poop soft Canada getting pushed around. You love to see it.

That's not Edmontons fault the NHL can't market itself. I feel like Edmonton already did it's part to grow the game in the US by selling GretzkyNo non-hockey fan in the United States knows who Connor McDavid is. It’s embarrassing for the NHL.
LeBron literally played in ClevelandBaby poop soft Canada getting pushed around. You love to see it.

Couldn't imagine the emotions before this game. Growing up we had a guy who would throw up before every important high-school basketball game. Once the game starts though it goes away
This is what the NHL has been starving us of for far too many years

Bettman will pretend he did all the dirty work that needed to be done before and now he can act like everything is in place and we can have fun things again. Trying to rewrite his own legacy so he's not remembered as the lockout guy but not a chance in hell that happensHeck I am borderline vomiting before my men's league games.
There might be some nerve compression involved with that, I'm not sure. But I'm a certified headcase before a game.
And why I've been so angry about it for so long. They needed to snatch the keys from Gary Bettman a long time ago - some things are more beautiful than money.
The Edmonton Oilers were by far the highest revenue team in the NHL last year. Have a look at the hockey tv viewership in Canada, its millions of people and he's not hidden away from them. Anything you say about being "hidden away" can be spun against players playing in small market U.S., including Columbus.
Frankly the league and ESPN could absolutely market the heck out of McDavid if they chose to. It's their choice not to. I think if you put the Oilers on regularly they'd be like the Atlanta Braves or Dallas Cowboys of hockey. They just won't make that investment, it's always just established O6 over and over again.
