Before that goal, it felt like Canada had all the momentum. McDavid has been pretty invisible. I thought MacK was very noticable in a positive way every time he was on the ice. The US needs to tighten up. Their miscues have been pretty bad. Werenski's turn over was especially bad, lead straight to MacK's goal.

I agree most of the time they also have the Makar-Toews pairing but they don't use them. We need them with Mack-Crosby since that line can cycle the puck right now.

Yeah Cooper needs to start playing Makar with Mackinnon.

I don't know it seems that Cooper probably think McDavid needs Makar to get him started instead of just going with the guy that has been dominating that period for Canada.

I get they don't want to overload the centers, but McDavid and MacK really does seem like match made in heaven. Put them with Makar, and no one could skate with those three. No idea why Canada won't even try it.
