USA played a great game defensively. Canada has to figure their lines out. McDavid, Reinhart and Marner looked terrible together.

This was a defensive clinic by the USA on how to turtle without completely turtling. No lanes, and the 6 on 5 defense was simply perfection.

Canada's roster just might not be all that good.
Cirelli, Marchand, Bennett, Hagel, Jarvis, Parayko, Doughty. That's a lot of meh and slowness.
Hot take: Nazem Kadri and Tom Wilson should be on this team if you wanted "grit" but guys with speed and skill.

Well MacKinnon sucks now because of that game and if you don't think so you don't know hockey.
Canada was still good but somehow feels like the chemistry isn't there. Meaning they could be very good, if things click.
McDavid disappeared when they started hitting him. MacK worthless as usual when the chips are down.

I agree. Speed is name of the game today. Finland couldn't keep up with the US at all. Finland is way too heavy and slow.
