We agree to disagree.

I loved it. Every second of it. I like those two. Sorry not sorry.

I haven't heard anyone but Hagel insinuate that the fights, which were of course planned via text by the bros & JT, were "staged" for the cameras.

My understanding is that MT of FLA doesn't care for Hagel of TB. Hence, he "wanted a piece of him."

I have zero problem with that.

Good on 'em.
Personally, I have my issues with the Thachuks, as a fan, but they did their job the other night, in all honesty I hate staged fights, stupid in my opinion, but those fights although I would say anyone who says they were staged might be right, but they also were to give a message, and message was sent. The message being sent is still working, prove being Hagel still whining about it, it is in his head and maybe a few others. I was not all on board for this tournament, and still not, but the hockey is great and I am enjoying it.

I don't recall anyone saying any such thing. In fact, quite a few people here have said the opposite.
I never said anyone did, they dont need to. There is more "fans" hating on the T brothers than rooting for them. After tomorrow I will hate on them as well.

The brothers have the nation talking about the sport. Plus they are great players that any Bruin fan would love to have, well other than the pattycake bunch.

precisely, spot picker

5-3 USA, Binnington pulled in 2nd but not before giving up two softies TC can`t recover from
I predict the Canadians will get the first power plays on a weak call to keep the game in check and take the physicality out of the game as fast as possible.

Lot more pressure on the USA playing at home.

Why wouldn't team USA just kept Hughes on their Roster to begin with just in case he could of been able to make it back. Seems like a huge oversight by their management team here.

Considering he's still in the hospital on IV antibiotics it is safe to say he's OUT for tomorrow and for the foreseeable future.

Get well soon CMac!

He is clearly OUT tomorrow and likely for a significant amount after that...four weeks is probably a tad optimistic ....in my opinion if the Bs don't put on a run in the next 9-10 games I think he is held out the rest of the year

And of the most importance- get well Charley- I want to see a total recovery versus a he's "good enough" to play decision

This is a very concerning situation for Boston now with both shoulders having issues and him making the money he does to be the # 1 guy in Boston.I am happy he is ok don't get me wrong but again it is concerning.

What exactly was the message? That the US team would be tough and physical? Everyone knew that prior to puck drop. Was the message that they would goon it up with smaller, non-fighter players? I'm sure Team Canada is shaking in their boots. (I at least give Miller credit for going with a larger player.) All it accomplished was to take 2 of Team USA's most effective players off the ice for 5 minutes.
