Four Nation break - who benefits most?

Which one on the struggling Leafs will benefit the most from this break. Physical and mental break?

There are quite a few players that are struggling mightily

Robertson, Domi, Timmins, Benny, Rielly
If it goes to script.

McDavid and Nylander will be neck and neck for series MVP

Marner will make embarrassing behind the back spinarama passes and people will shake their heads.

USA will win for ratings purposes.

BILLIONAIRES WIN AGAIN

Hopefully Marner. He may not play much but he’s never been around great players for any length of time and might learn how to overcome fear.
Why wouldn’t he play much? His cheerleading team here would say otherwise. He’s about to be paid as a top five player in league so he better lead this team to the glory land. lol.

He’ll kill penalties, but his offensive role will be filled by the others. He might get some PP2.

Rielly IMO .. not the best season from him, battling it. Being a new dad and all is a change.

A little break should help get him ready for the playoffs where he usually does well.

His game annoys me to no end but he seems to be pulling out of it the past week and a half.

Ekman-Larsson and Rielly.

OEL has struggled since January 1. Inconsistent performances, bad decision making, unnecessary/selfish penalties at the wrong time.

Maybe one of the core 4 actually win something in the 2020’s and it kickstarts the greatest redemption arc ever.

Having said that Finland will now find a way to win.

I think OEL and a guy like Tanev probably benefit a lot. OEL has been struggling, and tanev can use a break whenever as he’s always blocking 1000 shots a game

Maybe the slumping Rielly, Domi, especially Rielly... Tanev hasn't shown signs of fatigue but I'm sure the break will be good for his stretch run.
