anything actually happen yet

Lou was spotted at a diner on Long Island this morning drinking coffee and reading a newspaper. He got a phone call and spoke to someone briefly. He stayed another 10 minutes. Left a nice tip on the table and got into a black Cadillac. Drove west on hempstead turnpike which is headed towards UBS although many believe his office is at the isles practice facility which is the opposite direction. Some have speculated he he was heading towards his podiatrist in brooklyn because he’s been walk with a limp.

That’s all we got so far.

nope you just weren’t paying attention. I listed players right now who are clearly more likely than Dobson to have a Norris NEXT season (among other D that were omitted). McAvoy clearly will not be on that list when missing half of a season.

Try and pay a little more attention next time so I don’t have to explain things to you again.
You just answered my question, by answering the question I didn't ask, lol. Hold on to your hat!

Lou thinks he’s so cool for waiting until training camp to announce his moves and making grown men shave their facial hair. He’s like an edgy teenager with a God complex
Lou is kind of the opposite of that - he's more old school with a military style of leadership. He's actually given the reason why he doesn't announce things - albeit indirectly. He always says, "If you have time, you use it.". The rules don't require that he announce transactions right away, so he doesn't. He also believes in the team over individuals. That's the reason for the facial hair and low numbers things. Again, a military style of leadership.

Offer him 8 years, $7.65M AAV. NMC in years 1-4, M-NMC in years 5-6, and no trade protection in years 7-8.

12M / 10M / 9M / 8M / 7M / 6M / 5M / 4M

He cashes in big-time on a career season, especially in years 1-4. But Islanders aren’t stuck with an albatross contract and AAV that they can’t later move or buyout once he’s undoubtedly no longer worth it.

Get it done, or walk away. $9M AAV is straight up crazy talk for Kadri.

(I know I’m being a bit ridiculous here.)

NYI can't offer an eight year contract. Only Colorado could do that. The max is seven years.

That sounds like Dubas. How does he get such a close shave? There's no other explanation.

Because Seider is easily get Norris consideration as early as next season. He's already as good if not better then Noah Dobson.
In your biased opinion sure. Seider is going to be great eventually but you need to pump the breaks on that ridiculous hype.

Dubas can't grow facial hair yet is the answer your looking for.
