Considering how fun to watch and beloved a 37 year old Kovalchuk was, I can only imagine what a prime Kovalchuk would have been as a Hab. Would have been a legend consideirng how beloved Kovalev was.The Goat! Kovalchuk is a legend!

Former Hab Sami Niku having a big year in the NL, tied for 3rd OA in points for blueliners. Guess he took Reinbacher's spot. Crazy to see that as of today, if Kloten had just 1 more win they would be 1 point out of 1st OA in the league.

Not to mention I always loved his style and he had a good mix of skills and feistiness. I feel like he himself should have gotten a more successful career. He was in a nowhere organization in Atlanta for most of his career.
Looking at his age 41, he's still could play...
