Fixed. He was useless when he was in Anaheim. His 14 points in 38 games as a 2C was so bad it makes Derek Grant look like a 1st ballot HOFer. Even with Selanne and Kunitz on his line he couldn't do shit.
Kunitz was traded during the next season.

and somehow, brendan morrison managed to out-suck dead weight the next season. it's pretty nuts how they didn't have a legit 2C after mcdonald until they traded for kesler 7 years later

lol. they got a whopping 3 games out of klee and that's it. larsen never played for the ducks and painchaud was just minor league fodder
i think schneider actually passed through waivers, but still hilarious that they acquired 3 guys and only got 3 games out of all of them

Those early days of the salary cap were pretty wild. Schneider had 39 points in 65 games for us prior to that trade and wound up finishing 14th in Norris voting.

Sounds like he’ll try just enough to get a contract then go back to his old self.
Every report Ive seen has only said "We will have to see how he looks in pre-season games". Most of the commentary has been about his potential and how he would be a great fit if he played like he did in 20-21.
