-- Dealing Buch when he had term and Georgiev for 8OA + = Broberg
Bro mishandled by EDM, now showing signs of making it long term
-- Robertson has all the tools and they CONTINUE to not give him chance b'c they won't accept growing pains that come w/development. For this, no, I am right and Rs mgmt is wrong

That's not what a fire sale is!!

I mean the OP’s exclusion list is:

2 players who signed long term extensions in the last 2 months.

1 player on an ELC

And 1 player who was so adamant about playing for the Rangers he refused to play or sign anywhere else and forced trades twice.

None of those are players you can move in a fire sale. Moving a new commitment extension before it kicks in ensures you never get any player to sign such a deal ever again. Moving an ELC player is never a good move in a rebuild - if your rebuild is so far off that a 22 year old won’t be part of it, that’s a GM that will never see the horizon. And how do you move a player who has twice demonstrated he won’t play at all if it isn’t in New York?
