Jones is our guy. He’s proved it. Just imagine when they surround him with weapon. Just imagine if he had this type of coaching earlier in his career.

Imagine if Gettleman didn't tank the roster with his awful signings and we actually had a freaking WR for him!

The insane thing is that without all of Gettleman's awful decisions, we likely never hire Daboll since Gettleman is still the GM if this team is even average. And that means we'd have the same garbage staff.

I know they are blaming it on Cousins but why is Hockenson running a 3 yd route lmao
Because he draws a defender leaving some more room farther out. That’s on Cousins who made a poor decision. If Hockenson had some space to break a tackle I get the throw, but he was hit as soon he caught it

How is it his fault? He probably ran the route called for him

Was referring to OC not Hockenson

Hockenson was by far the go to all game. 10 catches 129 yds. Sending him on a 3 yd route as a complete non threat is terrible. This was 100% on the play call.

Got it. But yea the play call sucked. Would have been better to run 4 verticals than what they did.

This may be just me, but my love of Brian Daboll is really making me angrier at all things GG. I watch one team that literally maximizes every ounce of every player. Weekly changes to the game plan to put the players in the best possible situation depending on the team we are playing. Then I watch the Rangers fail at the same thing over and over again and hope it works differently.

Classic old school NFC next week, can’t wait to watch them, Giants should put the throwbacks on.

Bills/Bengals should be awesome too, maybe Jags can stay in it a bit as well.

Sometimes legends stick around a little too long. Brady better be careful or he will tarnish some of the mystique and aura about how you never count the guy out. He was atrocious tonight and average most of the year. He should retire wih his health intact.

Colts have requested to interview Wink and Kafka. Kafka has about 3-4 other HC opportunities lined up.

Bummed because I was hoping to get 2-3 years of this staff together. If both get a shot, they have to go due to age (Wink is almost 60 and has tried to be a HC for years and Kafka fits the recent trend of hiring young up and coming offensive minds).

Gotta feel happy for them.

Watch them turn into Tom Landry and Vince Lombardi when they left the Giants in the late 50s for HC jobs with Dallas and Green Bay.

I was wrong about the Boys game and don't feel bad at all. They hadn't won a road playoff game in 30 years. Why are Romo and Garrett on tv? Their D was great, Brady is not as good as he used to be, and the Bucs throw the ball 66 times strategy is dumb and losing.

There are so many myths of greatness. Peyton had a losing playoff record when he went to Denver and was a game manager when he won his Denver SB. 39-year-old Rodgers has won as many conference titles as Rex Grossman, one. Although Eli was a .500 QB in the regular season (Namath was one game below .500) he beat Brady and Belichick in the SB twice. If I was an owner, I'd take Eli's two rings over Rodger's one SB appearance.
