I’m really only interested in fantasy football but I’m of course on board with this take. The injuries are getting much more frequent and much more severe. I think NFL players are literally pushing the boundaries of what human bodies are capable of doing with respect to size, weight, and speed. Every week in the NFL is a mass casualty event.
Seriously it don’t always used to be like this. And rbs would carry the ball like 400 times a season and never miss any games. Wtf

Likely this is not the year for the Giants but they have a bright future with Daboll and (probably) Barkley and Jones. That said, I've been waiting for a cup favorite since I started watching and really thought that's what I'll see this year from the Rangers but the last two games have been depressing. I've seen the Giants win but haven't the Rangers (I was 8 when they won apparently I was watching at least some of the game but I don't remember). If I had to choose a dominant hockey team or football team I would choose the hockey team 100 times out of the 100 because they play 5 times as many regular season games.

I just want a @Machinehead approved Rangers team for once.
I mean, I'm right there with you. I was 4 when the Rangers won in 1994 so I don't remember it at all. And I love the Giants but I would easily trade them being terrible for decades for one Rangers Cup. All I really care about is the Rangers. Giants are my second place favorite team but there's like 1,000 levels between them and the Rangers for me.

It's absolutely amazing that we're winning games when our QB hasn't thrown a TD in 3 games.

1TD -2INT and we're 4-0.

It's weird because strictly from nostalgic purposes I wanted the Giants to be good because they were good in my late teens to mid-20s. But I don't feel like I've enjoyed them as much this season as I should probably because they feel like they're doing it with smoke and mirrors. That said looks like we might have our HC and QB, the two most important positions.

They have been terrible for decades!

The '70s and this past decade!

f*** that shit! It's the Rangers turn to hold-up the bargain!

So the Giants traded Toney to the Chiefs for draft picks. Kind of a strange move for a 6-1 team unless they plan to bring someone in to replace him. In any case, if Toney has a good 2nd half with the Chiefs (they must have wanted him for a reason), does that say anything about the Giants offense?

When a team desperate for WR trades their #1 pick WR from last season it says the coaches felt they were better off without KT for some reason.
Only being able to get around the 100th pick in 2023 is telling although some reporters said the market was a 5th round pick. It is a disappointing situation.

Will KT play soon for the Chiefs? It seemed like he was just collecting a paycheck from the Giants. I can’t imagine whatever injury he has is legit.

Going to be interesting to see how he’s used in KC. The kid looked dynamic as hell in the limited time he played but it just wasn’t in the cards for him to succeed here.

To be honest, I didn’t expect Toney to be on this team next season anyway. Never seemed like the coaching staff and him gelled. They barely used him in the two games he was healthy.

It’s a shame because he did have this dynamic movement that I don’t think I’ve ever really seen a WR have before lol.

Also if you told me in September ‘21 that we’d get 0 combined TDs between our 1st round WR and our big money free agent WR in their entire giants careers……

I guess technically there is still time for Golladay but he’s sub replacement level at this point.

Toney might shine elsewhere, but he won’t be missed. If he’s magically cured going into next week it’ll be really telling.

How can you see the turnaround going on around you and not want to be a part of it?

In a since deleted tweet KT said he was not even hurt anymore.

I really want Zach Wilson to be good...

I just dont see it. How can the New York Jets miss on so many QBs?
I'm a Giants fan that usually roots against the Jets but I see a lot of good in Wilson. I would not write Zach off after like 17 games. The physical is there. He just needs to adjust to the mental. Look at former Jet Geno Smith. It took him so many years but now he has had a nice season.

A lot of it is coaching and play calling. They still haven't coached away his propensity for dumb decisions. And the playcalling last year with a rookie QB a rookie OC and a rookie HC was just awful.
