If Toney wasn’t such a derelict, a Toney for Moore swap would actually make some sense. Toney would probably excel with LaFleur’s gadget plays and Moore would be a steadying/reliable player for DJ.

I just can’t see Joe Douglass taking in that personality.

The 2-4 Jags are a FG favorite over the 5-1 G-Men!?! I must be dumb, because I don't get it.

The Giants have one of the worst rosters in the league. it’s incredible how much this coaching staff is squeezing out of it. Add in a very easy schedule this year and it’s not too preposterous to see why Vegas isn’t a true believer.

This is not me being a doomer or anything either. I’m having a blast this season and I can’t wait to see what Daboll/Schoen can put together once the cap is fixed. This was anticipated as a rebuild year so right now the Giants are getting drunk on house money.

The Giants beat Tennesee, Green Bay, and Baltimore. Loss to Dallas. Not sure what you mean by easy schedule

I was debating whether the Giants should move Saquon despite their record, and after seeing the CMC return, I think Schoen would let him walk regardless. Makes the decision easier

Not sure you can let him walk, he's literally their whole offense right now.

I don't think you let him go. I think you tag him but don't sleep on DJ. Bark wasn't rushing for much last week. DJ still led long drives. The week before DJ had key 90 yard drive with Bark injured on the sidelines. Its a team effort.

How do you move your top playmaker when you're 5-1? The return for CMC is interesting - low cap hit this year but 55 million over following 3 seasons so I don't see how they can keep him.

I just don’t think the Giants are going to win the super bowl, and I think it’s questionable that Barkley is re-signed. Investing that type of money into a RB isn’t wise for a rebuilding team.

you want to pay a RB $15M? I love Saquon, but that’s a tough call for a new GM.

tagging him is definitely an option, it just kicks the can down the road a year though. They could definitely “Leveon” him

Tagging Barkley is an easy "yes." It's not even a question. The tag price on him is also cheap compared to most positions.

I like Moore and am not fast to otherwise move him BUT if we could get or package him for a stud OT I would do it and happily give his mins to Mims.

But the easy part of the schedule wasn't the first 6 games that include Tennessee, Green Bay, and Baltimore. In fact the easy part of the schedule starts now, this game against a 2-4 team that's been shit historically. So how exactly is this part a basis for the Giants being underdogs?

The Giants opponents thus far rank 22nd in strength of schedule. It’s not 2019 anymore. The Titans, Packers and Ravens aren’t the gauntlet they used to be. They’ve also beaten Chicago and Carolina by the skin of their teeth and those are two of the worst teams in the league.

And again, the Giants roster is weak and is on the road. I’m not saying I think the Giants should be underdogs but it isn’t that ridiculous as some of you are making it out to Be lol

Vegas knows the Giants are riding a hot goalie and their high K rate and inflated BABIP are going to come back to bite them

Now with Russell Wilson out , the Jets are favored for the first time in what i'm assuming is a decade at least. We all know what that means, bet your mortgage on Denver

The Packers and Titans were the top teams in their respective conference last year not 2019 and the Ravenns are good every year save last year when they were ravaged by injury. And them being on the road is accounted for. They're a pick em game against a team that is 2-4 and is historically worse. And maybe just maybe when people were evaluating their roster they underestimated and it didn't account for certain things like Lawrence, Thomas, and Barkley being all pro players.

Yeah I mean I agree with the premise that the Giants aren’t really a 5-1 caliber team but they haven’t benefitted from an easy schedule. They won a few games I had marked as easy Ls this year. They’re not a real contender by any stretch, at least not yet, but they’re 5-1 and enter a cupcake portion of the schedule that should propel them to like 9 or 10-1.
