They may need a new RB as well. Outside of a couple plays in two games, Breece Hall has been completely MIA this season.
I think the OL has a lot to do with that.....as we have seen, they can't block for shit, which means the QB little to no time; nor can they create the holes needed for a RB (or anyone for that matter) to get through and/or gain any yardage, which (of course) allows the defense to sit on the pass.

A handful of players and coaches were brought in to the Jets for Rodgers. Opinions on how they turned out and if they should be back?

Wilson would have thrown a couple ugly interceptions in the first half to put the game totally out of reach.

You may be the first person to have ever typed "The Jets win this game with Wilson."

Anyway, this is the better result in the end.
He's not good either, but these guys are putrid and there is a reason they were not on NFL rosters to start a season. Boyle is Rodgers personal caddy and Siemian might as well be checking out my groceries.

Maybe, but it wouldn’t be worth it. Need to cut the cord with ZW once and for all, lose out, get a new coach and gm, and get a new QB
It is worth it to the players. You don't think that these guys that have been going out there, especially the defense, and putting everything into this don't think a win is worth it?

You don't think Garrett Wilson is thinking what he'd be doing somewhere else? Same for Breece Hall. You have to do right by the guys on the roster. This isn't last season where dudes were wearing Mike White shirts.

And I hate to break it to at least some, but none of these guys are going anywhere and that includes Wilson. He's owed too much next season that will all be dead money anyway.

There is no point in evaluating any of them without Rodgers on the field.
You have to evaluate them without Rodgers because there is no guarantee he is healthy a whole season next year. How much time did he miss last season with a f***ed up thumb?

You cannot correctly evaluate them without Rodgers or competent QB play - especially Hackett. You can make an evaluation but there is a strong chance it will be wrong.

He missed 0 games last year? And did not miss a single game for 6 years straight before this one.

So would you keep almost exactly the same Jets offense (and coaches) without any evaluation or only the Rodgers specific guys?

Feels like the Johnsons are going to run it back next year no matter how bad it gets. The question will be what does Rodgers want and the answer will be not an overhaul at GM, HC, and OC.

Tua and White combined for 5 passing TDs vs DEN. Achane and Mostert combined for 5 rushing TDs in the same game.

NYJ has 10 offensive TD's in 12 games. Miami had that many in 1 game. Wild!

Honestly Rodgers is gone after next year, just run it back, and then fire all of them after next year. You aren’t getting a top gm and coach with 40 year old Rodgers.

The defense was easily playoff caliper. Top 10 if not top 5.

Cardinals play Chicago in Week 16. Jets play Washington Week 16 and NE in Week 18. That NYJ OL needs help.

The OL would explain struggles here or there. But Hall has been ridiculously bad for the majority of the season. When was the last big play you remember seeing from him? Some interesting numbers:

Cook ran 9 times for 35 yards and a 3.9 YPC. Breece ran 13 times for 16 yards and a 1.2 YPC. Same line. Same QBs. Same play-caller.

It was the 5th time this season where the backup or the QB out-produced Hall in rushing yards. It was the 8th time this season where Hall rushed for fewer than 50 yards (the 4th time he rushed for fewer than 20 yards, and the 7th time he rushed for fewer than 30 yards).

He has as many fumbles as he has touchdowns. This isn't the same Breece Hall that we saw last season (where only 1 game saw him rush for fewer than 30 yards, and he had 4 TDs in just 7 games). I don't know if his knee is still bothering him or if maybe he bought in too much to his own press clippings and let the ego get a bit inflated or what. But if he's half the running back we thought he was (ie: the guy who played so well last year), then the OL being a wreck wouldn't negate him entirely. He got called out by his coach and responded with his second worst game of the season. It's a concern.

One of the crappiest qb’s in the league refusing to play for you should see Zach, the coach and GM all out the door.
