The Bears had the ball, 2nd down and long from I think the Detroit 34, trailing by 3. There were 36 seconds and critically, they had one timeout left.

Caleb Williams got sacked for about 5 yards. Then...basically nothing happened. The Bears just kind of milled around for 15 seconds while the clocked ticked down until they suddenly seemed to realize "oh shit" and they scrambled to line up.

They finally get a snap off with about 5 seconds--mind you, they had a timeout this whole time!--and end up throwing a dying duck of a pass that falls incomplete around the 10 right after the clock expired. It was absolutely ridiculous.

I’ve seen a few “what are positions of need for The Giants? and it’s literally every position. QB, OL, DL, DB, LB, RB, WR, etc. Joe Schoen put together one of the softest, most pathetic football teams I’ve ever seen.

Daboll rubbed me the wrong way during Hard Knocks when they were interviewing Nabers and others in Schoens office and his fat ass was laying on the couch with his feet up on the coffee table.

Like you're gonna micro analyse everything this kid says and your fat ass can't even be sitting up while you do it? Only thing missing was a bag of pork rinds on his gut.

So yeah when the coach is doing shit like that, I can totally get on board that the players don't respect him. Doubt the coaches do either, we know Wink didn't

Wink, Kafka and other coaches wanted out last season. Kafka has kinda disappeared after the team refused to let him leave.

I’d clean house, but changing the coach has to happen regardless. The team isn’t functioning at any level right now and the stuff coming out of the locker room is insanely toxic.

I think the team has way more talent than it shows so I ask myself why is that. It has some obvious holes that are magnified by the toxic atmosphere that you mentioned. I saw one of the pkayers covering his mouth so that the cameras could not read his lips when speaking to a former teammate. I assumed there was a significant reason he did that.
