Huh?????To be honest, I just assumed it was a down year and bought the hype. But this was always a possibility, especially after the injury last year. I hope Jordan Love works out better for the Jets though.

We shit on the NHL, but the NHL as a league is the best it's been in 30 years and the NFL is worse than I've ever seen it. Just unwatchable garbage.

It doesn't help we watch the Jets and Giants every week though. I thought the play overall in the league was bad in September, and got more exciting in the past month.
Also, having teams plays 2 games in 5 days is atrocious, TNF stinks.
There used to be a time when you got one of Big Ben, Philip Rivers, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, a healthy Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, hell even a step down Eli Manning, and Matt Ryan if you watched a nationally televised game. Now we get garbage on a stick every nationally televised game. A league where Lamar f***ing Jackson is a two time MVP is a shitty league.
I think the QB play is very down, but Lamar is one of the most fun/electric players in the league to watch. He is at 17 TD's and 2 INT's this year, with another 500 rushing yards.
I would rather watch the Ravens then whatever boring offense KC is running.

I get it what you're trying to say but Lamar is still a great QB. The product stinks because of how rookie QB's are treated, a lot of that comes from after how Russell Wilson led Seattle his rookie year and Dak did his rookie year with Dallas. Guys are forced to start in the league if they're a high pick and most of them are raw, unexperienced guys trying to lift up a shit organization or team because why else would you be picking that high in the first place? Until that's not resolved, it's gonna be shit QB play in the league
I'm not an expert at this but my friend who understands all sports better than me tells me it stems from coaching dumbing down the game at the college level and they can't play at the NFL level. That seems like a reasonable take to me. You get much better athletes and instead of coaches developing their ability to pass and read defenses they just utilize those skills. So you get guys who are more athlete than quarterback.
