The story coming out of Devils' practice was that the team worked on creating traffic in front of the net and multiple scoring attempts rather than "one and done" chances.

How many times was Hart forced to stop a rebound shot or a shot that was either deflected or came through a screen?

On the one hand yes (especially in a GDT when he hasn't arrived yet), on the other hand it is going to be an issue as long as both these goalies are playing well and he's taking starts from at least one of them.

Maybe it will be…maybe it won’t. For all we know Fitz could waive him. It’s just ridiculous that as soon as the final horn goes off we get yet another rant on Blackwood when he had nothing to do with this game and is 150 miles away.

B) Nobody wants to hear about territorial dominance when they lose (again) to an inferior team and have lost to all three rivals this week, with the upcoming schedule they have

That said, it's one thing to be skeptical of the advanced stats dominance before they actually show something where they'd have earned benefit of the doubt, but now they deserve a LITTLE benefit of the doubt on that at least.

Come on man, you need to stop with this "they didnt get to the dirty areas" stuff. It just isnt true. They had plenty of "dirty areas" chances tonight. When you put up 50 shots, they arent all perimeter shots. Just look at the shot heat map I posted.

He even got time in the last minute though which was nice to see. Especially considering he did have a strong offensive game against the Flyers on Opening Night when they took him out of the cage.
