He’s played very well for long stretch now.

He’s very inconsistent, he was awful for very long stretches last season.

People tend to forget the bad times when they pump his tires in the good stretches.

He currently gets paid to be a 4th line center and he’s fine at that (not counting the legal issue hanging over him of course).
