Lmao. Shattenkirk needs to play better 5v5 before playing big minutes on the power play, although to be fair, he has recently been playing a little better.

And in what way is it better? Seriously? PP1 is good because of Kreider and Zibanejad. It always was, no matter which d-man was on it. Even Pionk was more effective than Shattenkirk, the supposed “elite PP specialist.” Shattenkirk only has 4 PP points while getting lots of power play time, while Pionk has 12 PP points. Also, ADA leads the NHL in HDCF% on the power play. I mean, Shattenkirk would be my 3rd option, but even if he was my 1st option, he shouldn’t be getting the full 2 minutes or nearly the full 2 minutes. We have young players that we need to develop. And even though he has been playing a little better, he’s still an overpaid bum. The only argument Shattenkirk fans have is the pedigree argument, that he used to be an elite power play quarterback, so he must still be good.

Who the F is more deserving? He played great that pp, they did everything but score. What just making up nonsense ?
 
Pretty sure Quinn coaches by 'feel' more than the normal coach does, mighta been an audible to keep Shattenkirk out there for the full 2 mins. Seemed to be the right call too. Wouldn't think anything of it. Relax b89.

He’s been great. Some fans are just clueless. Guy couldn’t play better then he did that period. He’s playing really well. I love, let’s put the more deserving player out there. Who is that Mcquaid? Smith? Give me a break.

Hayes scores more because of length and angle.

When you don’t have real scorers you will make any nhl quality goalie look like a stud. Hitting guys in the chest instead of putting pucks under the bar.

When you watch highlights from other games between periods you really see the lack of talent we have across the board.
 
Dave Maloney is nevesis.

Every time he talks about Kreider, there's some backhanded undertones.
