We’ll see, but it may make more sense in the off-season.Does this mean they're trading Laughton?
Or next trade deadline. We’ll see, but it may make more sense in the off-season.
Who the f*** is this guy
A true Flyers scouting report.Jacob Lefty. He's a righty.
Dunno, but players on an AHL deal can be signed to an NHL deal by any team at any time. How much time was left on his AHL deal?
Decent big RW/C from the Q. His brother got picked in the 1st round, IIRC. We'll see if he's NHL material, needed to improve footspeed. I don't root against undrafted kids, let's see if he can make it.Who the f*** is this guy

"We'll make a center out of you in no time kid"Frost replacement..

Maybe another team reached out to sign him, forcing the Flyers to sign him or let him go? Will we ever know? As you say, a guy who earns his ELC is OK, he's a big strong kid, might end up making it if his skating has improved. Anybody offer a recent scouting report? They have worse contracts. I certainly don't mind this. I'm only curious about the timing and if it's significant.
It's a two way deal with vet minimum in the NHL, $85K in the AHL.They've been talking this guy up since training camp.
This is pretty much out of the Hayden Hodgson playbook. Big ECHLer who puts up OK numbers in limited AHL time and they think he's an NHLer.
