Can’t believe he lasted this long

I had originally assumed Brindley would be around at 23 for me so I was really just focused on him. Then when I looked last night and saw that you were one of the two picks before me I assumed that Brindley would be gone. I started looking at my other options and when I looked to see who had been taken I was shocked to still see Sale there.

So, I guess thank you for sniping me on Brindley?

I was gonna take him if I Brindley was taken right in front of me.

The last couple of Barry eps have been crazy though. I'm so lost

Around here, we do a little thing called ignoring consensus lists and instead throwing darts blindfolded.

Vegas selects the forgotten former member of the USNTDP - Gracyn Sawchyn.

Leads the draft class in dangles/60.

Nah. I usually have someone that stands out that I'm excited to pick, but you guys did a pretty good job this year. I was between two guys.

See you guys in 49 picks.

Nice, I took Sawchyn in a different mock draft on here (pick 43). I considered him for pick 27 but ultimately it was down to Perron and another player who still hasn't been picked; also sort of wishfully hoped maybe he'd last till my next pick. Similar reasoning for Gulyayev over Cristall, I took the latter in the same aforementioned draft and just wanted to go with someone different

The St. Louis Blues select Ethan Gauthier, RW, Sherbrooke Phoenix, QMJHL.

We hope he throws hip checks like his father.

Blues:
1-10 - St. Louis - Oliver Moore, C, USNTDP (USHL)
1-24 - St. Louis - Dmitri Simashev, D, Yaroslavl (KHL)
1-29- St. Louis - Ethan Gauthier, RW, Sherbrooke (QMJHL)

I look forward to the imaginary Blues forechecking menace of Moore and Gauthier together, with Simashev holding the defensive blueline.

I had no idea he's Denis's kid. Guess I haven't looked too deep into him as a prospect.

I talked myself into Lecavalier until 5 games.
I as well liked the signing at first, thought he definitely had more in the tank than he did

I recall exactly where I was when the Lecavalier acquisition was announced.

Not exactly a moon-landing, JFK assassination, or OJ verdict moment, but I was in Four Courts Irish bar in Wilson Blvd. in Arlington when the news broke & I discussed it with a Montreal fan.
