I'm actually surprised that he is continually getting overlooked. The Hitmen were terrible this year, but Yeryomenko and Kastelic keep showing up as late picks. I think Grishakov has a lot more talent than either of those two but was stifled by coaching and the language barrier. So, given what's left on the board, the Rangers are happy to swing for the fences and hope they can hit a Datsyuk in the late rounds.

We could do that. It would make sense to use a consensus ranking like the one Denominator (Rangers GM) put together to judge how far fetched a pick was:

That would be a somewhat fair gauge as to how we did at make pretend. Point values and ranges open to change.
