Im sure some of our prospect experts could have done better, as I was only familiar with the top 60 or so prior to starting the mock draft. I just wanted to emphasis building our center depth and wanted to mix in a risky pick (Zetterlund IMO).

Haha part of my strategy was to diversify our prospect portfolio..which is deep in two-way guys forwards with size. I wanted to mix in some toolsy forwards regardless of size that might be projects.

Studnicka has probably been hearing that joke his whole life..and probably doesnt mind one bit

Yeah man..I might grab one later on but its not a need for the Flyers pool right now at all

Yeah in the 1st 4 rounds, I hope we pick no goalies and 1-2 Dmen. The goalie and D pipeline are nice....hopefully this draft fills up the forward group.

Then next year, do back to a more balanced type of drafting like 4 forwards, 2 D, 1 goalie.

Agree. I do think Hexy ends up taking 1 goalie though. He has said he looks to get 1 per draft.

I liked Chytil at 44 & Fortier at 106 the way it unfolded.

I just wanted to emphasis building our center depth and wanted to mix in a risky pick (Zetterlund IMO).

Chytil and Zetterlund would've both been among my top guys at picks 2 and 3 as well. Would certainly be content with that.

I liked Chytil at 44 & Fortier at 106 the way it unfolded.

Chytil might slip into the late 1st so I was excited to nab him at 44.

He's unfortunately become a hot name now. I thought I'd have him as an option with my Isles pick at 46 pretty easily, but suddenly I'm seeing him going as quickly as late first in the most recent mocks.

Not surprised, he was really good in the Hlinka and the U18 WJC.
