"Travis Sanheim, their 2014 first-round pick, chosen before St. Louis center Robert Fabbri (37 and 29 points, respectively, in two seasons) and Bruins winger David Pastrnak (34 goals, 36 assists this season), has been slow to develop."

:shakehead

I'm not giving that any clicks but I saw screen caps on twitter earlier. It's awful & out of touch. He referred to Morin as Samuel "Motrin" Morin. He gave him a made up nickname.

If people stop reading Donnellon, Marcus Hayes, etc they won't be writing anymore and we'll all be better off for it.

*Edit* Marcus Smith does not have yet another new position.

Hayes is just a bitter, negative person who loves to be negative. Donnellon is just a guy who acts like he knows a lot of sports but knows next to nothing. How could anyone say that Sanheim's development has been slow? Donnellon's logic: Two forwards drafted after him have made the NHL and one of them has been really good so that must mean Sanheim sucks :shakehead

Sielski is a POS. Have you ever tried to have a discussion with him on twitter? His usual response ends up being along the lines of "I know you are but what am I."

Nah. He's actually one of the few I have blocked on twitter (maybe the only one). Carchidi would always & probably still does retweet him all the time so blocking his account eliminated that from time line.

He's a Skip Bayless wannabe though. I go no time for media members like that.

Yep, Hayes is a flea market Stephen A Smith.

Donnellon is completely incompetent. There's no defending that.

Rich Hofmann Sr used to be my favorite winter sports writer in town. I can't believe he's running that sports page, but I'm sure it's just page views.

Les Bowen used to do a good job covering the Flyers back in the day.

I agree, Hoffman was pretty good. Always level headed and was versatile enough to know what he was talking about four for four.

Did anyone see the Commencement speech Sielski gave at LaSalle? What a phony.

I had to see this. I made it through 3 out of 11 minutes.

He talked about his kids, traveling too much, press room food being terrible, and the local teams losing. For his first bit of advice, he sarcastically said, "I'm not talking about selling out to the man," and I had to turn it off. Those poor people.

His son is really good, too. If I had to pick one local guy to eventually go national, it would be him.

I think most of the media in Philly is pretty bad. That being said, I very rarely consider someone to be a POS but Sielski is just that.
