Flyers haven’t even really started their rebuild and already should abandon it?

Trying to be just mediocre at best?

Maybe previous regime but Briere made moves that prove the exact opposite of mediocre.
See Michkov, Provorov.
Extra first picks and extra early seconds next 2 drafts.

Sounds like 12 is in play but could be to move up or back. Possible they like Catton and would move up to get him if they need to but Bob has it going that for Philly at 12 anyway.

Let's say Iginla/Sennecke or Catton are there at #12 i could see the Habs putting Guhle on the table.

MTL : Guhle + #78
for
PHI : #12 + #32

Guhle-Sanheim
York-Drysdale

Solid top 4 on D
If MTL was going this route, they would just target SEA (8th), NJ (10th), or BUF (11th), and they wouldn’t need to include the 26th either - it would be Guhle straight up for the pick. Guhle is worth more than the 12th by himself.
