But in the grand scheme of things all of that is irrelevant because you can only play who's in front of you. It's just annoying that because the Oilers beat these teams suddenly they aren't very good. Dallas especially.

With the way TSN and Sportsnet covered playoffs and daily recaps, you'd think Oilers already won the cup before playing game 1 against LA. They some reason all rode the Oilers bandwagon all playoffs.

Congrats Florida fans. Was one hell of a series and doesn't get any closer than that. Don't love the goal Skinner gave up on the game winner, felt it was very weak, but Florida buckled down and shut things down in crucial moments. Oilers had a couple flurries a few when Bob was down and out, and the boys got in lanes to block shots to bail him out, and really just played a very good game overall. Enjoy the win, was a hell of a ride as an Oilers fan and despite losing that was a very fun final to watch.
