Should the NHL have the Panthers and Leafs redo their series in case it was a big fluke?
No disrespect to the Panthers, I'm a firm believer that Florida beating them in 5 is a huge fluke and robs the Leafs of truly accomplishing what their capable of. I've spent the last few days in pure disbelief and it just doesn't make sense to me. I've spent the entire regular season watching the Leafs play great hockey it's just not fair.
If the Leafs lose again I will face that the Panthers deserved the win, but I am just 100% sure it was a fluke and does a big disservice to the Leafs and the NHL.

Oh no, the emotionally abusive rollercoaster ride is over yet again, just when the great weather has finally arrived.

I wanted to win, but I'm not disappointed at all.

Thanks for making it into somewhat of a series Leafs.

Now I can check out for a few months and enjoy my post-covid summer life.

Overall, the series was goalie difference. As I predicted before the start of the season, Leafs' goalie situation came to bite them.

The actual road to the finals would have been Tampa(in bad form), Panthers, and Hurricanes. One of the most fortunate roads to finals possible, yet Leafs blew it.

Credit to Panthers, though if I'm being honest, I think they got outplayed in just about every game overall. It mostly was just a matter of Bobrovsky completely outplaying the Leafs goalie game after game.

Just shows how much the Leafs core is filled with losers.

The support cast was as strong as it has been in a long time around the core. The core didn't do shit in response. The Leafs will never win anything as long as they keep the same loser core they have now.

Can we stop to celebrate that not only did Toronto lose again, but the Florida draft pick that Habs fans thought would be a lottery pick is now pick #29-32? It's rare that the Habs and Leafs BOTH lose so badly at the same time, but I'm here for it.

Tavares, Matthews, Marner = a shocking waste of $30+ million dollars. They deserve to shoulder this blame from their ghostly performance.
I mean the only thing that takes the sting as a Habs fan is when the trade happened this was kinda where we expected the pick to be and we're still happy then.

That being said, that early season tease was annoying lol.

Props to Florida tho. They played a great series and really capitalized on the chances they received.
