GDT: Florida Panthers at Ottawa Senators - 2PM - TSN5/RDS - Kitty Kats Katerwauling in Kanata - Ain't No Tkachuks Edition

Habs just beat this same Florida line-up and didn’t need the “playoff hockey” method of getting 2 ahots a period.

Montreal had a 4 shot period in each of those games. Including a third period where they were trailing for 19:51. They got a lucky bounce to tie (which is part of the game and legit).

I don’t know why some HFsens fans are fluffing the Habs so hard.

Ottawa is playing very poorly but I'm not sure what that has to do with Tyler Boucher.

He's also playing poorly?
The are playing well defensively protecting a lead & so far have kept the Stanley Cup Champions off the board. Isn't that a positive?

Where winning against a team that went to finals two year in a row won a cup and is challenging for the division, seems pretty good for a bubble team still learning how to win.
What did we learn today? Can play as bad as you want as long as your goalie saves everything?

It's because some of them are actually Habs fans.

You know who I'm talking about I'm sure.

They've look very good since the 4N break. That's just the facts, bud.

I don’t hate Chabot, I just don’t think he’s an intelligent player, and he’s overpaid. It’s legit to discuss deficiencies in a player, and Chabot has many.

Very skilled player with lots of warts.
By a very long standing problem... My one issue with Chabby is and has been what I have been bitching about for years. He screws himself constantly by over-handling the puck. He dusts the puck off all the time as his shooting lanes close. Appreciate that I am not suggesting he can't or shouldn't move the puck across the line given that opportunity. More often than not he is standing still while he fiddles around and all his shooting lanes close. I have no idea why that can't be corrected, coached, or at least improved upon. I believe he has significant skills, and is much better than given credit for when he is NOT partnered with a boat anchor. You are absolutely correct that those warts you mention are there but they can be fixed.

15 -38 shots. Not a great game by the Senators is an understatement. Good thing Forsberg came to play!
