I disagree with you, smith played well tonight and for that matter so did Staal and kampfer. And I hate giving Staal any props but he has been decent this year. Holden tonight showed what a lazy piece of shit he is

You outplay a team this badly and not win is fine if you just dont score because the goalie just plays the game of his life. It happens once in a while.
But when you outplay a team this badly and score 4 goals, and still dont win, you deserve to lose. Just extremely sloppy at times in the neutral and defensive zone and we give away two very important points 5 times in this game.
This is the kind of game that you shake your head at if you win, you deserved it but you also know you cant be this sloppy going forward. Its also the kind of game that destroys your confidence and makes you feel very small when you lose it...

Smith picked it up in the neutral zone didn’t recognize at all the team was changing and tried to skate forwards into traffic when he could have EASILY retreated into his own zone with the puck and regrouped begins the net

Smith is a terrible hockey player. He handles the puck like it's a grenade. Holden is just an AHL defenseman. It's not his fault its Vignaults.

Smith is not a terrible player. He was involved all night. His partner was trash holden. All Holden had to do was bank the puck high off the boards. He literally passed it to the opposition. This is who he is despite what the jobless Patrick Roy says. He constantly f***s his team when the game is on the line.

I didn't say he didn't play well. He's played well lately for sure but Smith turned the puck over to begin with. Yes Holden was crap on that clear but Smith isn't blameless there. With 1 minute left you play for the point.
