Demers in no way shape or form is an "excellent" second pair dman. After his last year he's lucky he's a bottom pairing dman.

Can we all just remember that Eklunds logic for making up trade rumors has a lower bar than the people on these forums. He posts things like "the hawks are interested in malkin" disregarding the fact that the hawks have been in cap hell on and off for over half a decade now. You never see him post about trade rumors involving lesser valued players because he doesn't imagine things that wont bring him page hits.
